The Day that Was

It was really, a very unproductive day. I was hoping that I will be able to accomplish some online tasks but obviously, up to this moment, I am still struggling. I also planned to visit the malls, hoping to score some pair of shoes and blouses for myself plus birthday and ordination gifts for some dearies. Unfortunately, the weather did not cooperate so I opted to stay home because I don’t really like commuting when it’s raining. I should have left earlier but I have been feeling lethargic these days, no thanks to my hormones.

*sigh*

Hopefully, tomorrow is a better and a more productive day. :)

Message from God

Message from God On this day of your life, Suzanne, we believe God wants you to know ... that it's important to appreciate and respect the young ones. Let them feel your love. These children and young people will inherit our earth, and as they have been treated, so will they treat others.

This is a good reminder for me because there are times when I tend to forget that my child is just well, a child! And that she won’t be a child for a long time.

Motorcycle Apparel

One of the most unfortunate and tragic events that I was able to witness was when a motorcycle accident some years back. It was running full speed and failed to slow down at the junction. It collided with an van with just the driver in it. Fortunately, the van driver was not hurt but the man driving the motorcycle was seriously hurt especially that he was not even wearing the required motorcycle apparel. It was a very tragic sight, indeed, and I am hoping that along with me, others who witnessed it learned a very important lesson on road safety that day.

Once someone purchases a motorcycle, investing on motorcycle safety gears is also imperative. There are many stores out where one can find quality motorcycle apparel both for women and men. Do a quick search online for more quality bell helmets or Shoei Helmets at discounted prices. Take MotorcycleCenter.com for example. Shopping is a breeze at their online store because their large selection of items are categorized either according to their types or brands. They also offer discounts and even free shipping for orders amounting to $89 and above. Aside from that, a 3-day guarantee on all items is also offered. With these offers and many more, there are no reasons now to scrimp on motorcycle apparels.

What is Sourcebits?

One of the news that I have read today presented the best and the coolest iPhone/ iPod games of the week. I found it an interesting and a helpful read because the number of iPhone/ iPod applications out there is very overwhelming. Most often, I rely on the reviews I read online and suggestions made by friends when it comes to which iPod application to download.

It is good that many iPhone Games Development companies dedicate time, skills and resources to come up not only with games but with iPhone applications which are practical and very useful. Sourcebits is one of these iPhone App Development companies. A visit to their website will give you an impression that this company is on top of their game. With just one click, an informative and highly entertaining advertisement that highlights what Sourcebits has to offer can be viewed at its homepage.

Visitors of the website can easily view Sourcebits portfolio which includes applications for iPhone, iPod, iPad, Mobile, Mac and the Web. It is amazing and very impressive that Sourcebits which is also an Android App Development company has already gained some prestigious awards and achievement since it was established four years ago. It was even chosen as an Apple Select Developer and some of its developed application were featured at Apple.com.

ISP Woes

I have been experiencing some down time with my ISP that prompted me to call their CSR hotline for almost three days in a row. If your work is largely depends on the Internet, you know that intermittent Internet connection equals nightmare. I did lose my temper on the first day when a CSR informed me that a service crew will come over to diagnose the problem and offer assistance after two days, a Sunday. But the following days, I chose not to obsess so much about it (though I have deadlines to beat) because it was something that I have no much control over. I did inform my ISP hotline about the problem and I they were working on it. I spent my Saturday sleeping and just lounging around. I also had my backup ISP which wasn’t of much help either. Well anyway, to cut the long story short, my connection was fully restored last night, my sanity is still intact and I passed the test of patience this time, I think. :)

Happy Monday, everyone!

A friend of ours owns a dormitory for students. Her mom has been managing the said dorm for almost two decades now and from what I have learned, they are planning to undertake some renovations during the Christmas break this year. Some refurbishing will be done too since many of the furniture and fixture are old and outdated like some tables, beds, cabinets and chairs. As early as now, they have been searching for bunk beds for sale. They prefer wood bunk bed for the rooms because it is only durable but also space-efficient.

I know that our friend will be happy to know that Mom’s Bunk House got them covered when it comes to their bunk beds needs. My1Stop.com: Printing Made Easy

I was once a part of our university’s Career Guidance team. Our mission is very simple: sell the university to graduating high school students in the city and the nearby provinces. We usually schedule an audience with them and during that session, we present them what our university has to offer – degrees, scholarships, facilities, services, programs and many others. We effectively deliver what was expected of us with the use of technology. We bring along our own sound system, LCD projector, laptop and others. We use PowerPoint Presentations and show movies to highlight the university’s features. But we all know that these are not enough. Thus, we distribute brochures, fliers and bookmarks that speak about what the university offers.

We know that memory retention is a slight problem with our audience thus, it is best that we give them something to bring home, or show to their parents, who are after all, play a crucial role when it comes to university education of their children. Thanks to our reliable Brochure Printing company, we never had a problem when it comes to our printing needs. It reminds me of an online store named my1stop.com which is a one-stop-shop for all customized printing needs for business and personal use. They offer fast turnaround and great prices for orders of Custom Labels, Calendar Cards, Outdoor Magnets, Postcard Printing and many others. So remember, if you need an affordable, fast, high quality custom printing company, stop by at my1Stop.com.

Blood Pressure Monitors

>> Saturday, August 28, 2010

Recently, news about a famous local TV personality shocked the nation. He was living a healthy and active lifestyle and at the pink of health when he suffered from a mild stroke some weeks back. But the good news is that he is on his way to recovery. He just needed to stay for some more days at the hospital to completely recover and at the same time undergo some tests to fully determine what caused the attack. Until now, the cause of the mild stroke is still unknown. I am wondering if it was hypertension since it was not reported.

My maternal grandmother suffered from hypertension during her last years with us. I was young back then but I remember her religiously taking her medications and checking her blood pressure using her blood pressure monitors. I remembered her and this famous TV personality when I saw a website that supplies blood pressure cuffs and the likes. The name is Southeastern Medical Supply Inc. Not only do they offer quality health monitoring equipment but they make these products available at wholesale factory direct prices. Enjoy special savings on their monthly specials and more discounts are even offered for bulk orders.

With so much of life being lived online these days, it's possible to pursue just about any hobby in cyberspace. People spend more time than ever in front of the computer, and as a result, there have never been more opportunities to enjoy favorite pastimes from the comfort of your own home.

From movies to books and music to workouts, basic hobbies are easy to access online. You can enjoy online casino games, like virtual poker and other billiards, or find a website dedicated to another hobby, such as crafting. In addition, there are thousands of how-to sites populated with videos, blogs, and forums to help people learn new things and grow within their hobbies. The Internet provides once-isolated artists and artisans with a community of people to network with, share ideas, and offer support. Those living in rural communities find comfort in knowing that they can make friends and garner support from all over the world.

Not only does the Internet provide opportunities to learn new things and take up new hobbies, it also makes it possible for people to earn a living doing what they love. Finally, the Internet has made freelance writing, graphic and web design, and marketing easier than ever before. Work From Home

>> Tuesday, August 24, 2010

I recently joined the bandwagon and decided to become a Work From Home mother. It is because I chose to be with my family when we relocated. I now know how difficult it is to be separated from my friends and to stop working in a place I have been frequenting for about eleven years and yet, I know that family comes first. I am just grateful that there are opportunities to earn even if I am staying at home.

Recently, I decided to find other ways to earn so I searched for a home based business network marketing and I landed on Go2platinum.com. The people behind this business believes that “no one ever gets to top alone. Thus, it has been dedicated to mentor others in order to achieve financial freedom and independence collectively. We have heard of many horror stories involving network marketing that victimized even the wealthiest and most powerful persons but they were either swindled or did not succeed. This company guarantees that these will never happen when you choose to work with them. They are legitimate and they promise to be your partners who will provide guidance and assistance every step of the way. Non-Profit Accounting

I did not earn a college degree in accountancy but I know it is a course for excellent and diligent students because included in my course’s curriculum was one accounting subject. That is why I admire this friend who earned her accounting degree, passed the board exam for Certified Public Accountants and has been serving in a Non-profit accounting firm for eight years now. Her dedication and commitment to her work is remarkable. She reminds me of Maher Duessel Certified Public Accountants, the leading regional public accounting firm with over 70 professionals throughout Pennsylvania.

Other than their excellence in providing timely assistance, Maher Duessel is also dedicated in providing a rewarding CPA careers for professionals who share their mission. Luxury Linens

My husband and I were at the mall yesterday where we bought some books and toys for our daughter, supplements and toiletries for myself. We also tried checking out some Luxury linens for our bedroom at the department store but none caught our fancy. We searched high and low but most designs are outdated while others are made of inferior materials. It was disappointing so we upon coming home, we searched online for a store that sells superb Luxury bedding and we found what we were looking for at Versai-la.com. With 500 designs and 100 colors, they surely carry the widest selection of Luxury sheets in the world!

I am happy that we have many designs to choose from with the assurance that all are made with superb superb quality of materials. We even saw some towels and luxury table linens! Another thing that I like about Versai-la.com is that I can buy gift certificates which are perfect wedding and house warming presents for friends and relatives. With a gift certificate, the recipients can freely choose the design and color, depending on their preference and taste whether its classic or contemporary. I know that like me, they won’t be disappointed with Versai-la.com’s products.

Hair Salon Furniture

>> Friday, August 20, 2010

Originally included to my itinerary for a trip next month is a visit to my favorite salon for a much-needed hair makeover. But because I am under medication due to my thinning hair, makeover might need to wait until December. Besides, I still need to wait until my hair grows back. However, that will not stop me from paying my favorite hairstylist a visit. I was not able bid him goodbye prior to our departure last June so I am excited to see him again next month. He is not only a hairstylist to me but a good friend too. Besides, I like hanging out at his salon. It is cozy and comfortable because he refurbishes it regularly. He changes his hair salon furniture annually and it’s one thing that I look forward to seeing at the start of the year. However, his choices are limited because of our location. He has to order his salon furniture from another city and shipping takes up the huge cut in the total amount of purchase.

One of his friends who owns a salon in the US does not face the same challenge. Thanks to Pretty-Salon USA, quality and affordable salon furniture are within his reach. Designer style furniture like salon styling chairs, reception desks, facial bed, Pedicure Spa Chair and others are all available at affordable prices. Their huge selection of products makes Pretty-Salon USA the ultimate online source for the best hair salon furniture.

Stop and…

While we were playing badminton outside this afternoon, we had to stopped to give way to what I call, a parade of dogs. It was just two dogs, actually, being taken for a walk by their owners. One was a big black dog while the other one is small, white, furry dog. Last month, we also saw a big Siberian husky at the entrance of the village. It seemed that many of our neighbors are into dogs. The only pets that we have here in the house are fishes, which we can’t take for a walk. Haha! Dogs are nice but I still prefer cats.

Anyway, I found this photo today which reminded me, not only of our canine neighbors but to take time to smell the flowers. Stop and smell the flowers.photo source

Comic Books

Aside from his fondness for computer games, my cousin is also into Comic Books. He has a collection of Spiderman, X-Men and Batman comics. His collection has been slowly evolving and from what I have learned, he is also now into G.I. Joe, The Incredible Hulk and Captain America comic books. That is why, I believe that he will be delighted if I tell him about Newkadia.com – a premier source of different kinds of comic books which are very affordable. US shipping only costs .99 cents and here’s the best news: they also ship internationally! All major credit cards are accepted and Paypal can be used as mode of payment too so shopping is a breeze. Moreover, they offer free returns with 100% money back guarantee.

If you have a comic book collector friend or loved one, a great gift idea is a gift certificate from Newkadia.com. It’s a great gift for young readers too to encourage their love of reading. Comic books are great bridges of our past and the present. We all know that the artists and the writers change over the years, but the comic books continue to find their way to the hearts of young and old alike.

For the High Rollers

How would like to play poker using real gold, silver and bronze coins?

Just last month, United States Gold Bureau, the leading source of news and information regarding precious metals investment and an authorized dealer of old, platinum and silver and rare and certified coins, unveiled their High Roller poker sets using real American Eagle coins from the U.S. Mint in lieu of traditional plastic or clay poker chips.

Interested parties can customize their own sets basing on their preferred quantities and metals - on what metals they want to include and in what quantities. They can also avail of the standard set which includes American Eagle coins in gold, silver and platinum. This is priced at $375,000. Then there the "Billionaire Set" for the really high rollers because it also includes 1-kilo gold bars. On the other hand, the "Wild West Set" uses collectible gold and silver coins from the 1800s and early 1900s.

Explain!

I had a chance to meet an old friend some months back. We have not seen each other for a long time. We chatted over lunch and it felt so good to be talking with him again. Many things in our lives changed since we’ve last seen each other, like our waistlines for instance! The two of us gained weight, obviously. I also learned that he is enjoying his work too much that he’s been delaying marriage. He was surprised to learn that I am working in the same university where we met.

Many things changed indeed, but some things remain. He is still the same serious and silent type person that I used to know and per his observation, I am still the same old me who talks too much and requires too much explanation from others. LOL!

Wake Up!

This is something that I should always bear in mind, being a slacker. Haha! Success in whatever endeavor is not something achieved overnight. It requires consistent hard work and self-discipline. Ironically, I have realized these now that I am a WAHM. Maybe because I now have time to really dream and plan for our family. Or maybe because this is the time that I have waken up and started working for the achievement of those dreams.

To Make the Right Choices

As early as now, my friend is helping her younger cousin who is in high school in preparing for college. She has been encouraging him to perform well in class to gain good marks and excel. Moreover, she is also giving him options on what course to take and where to study. She also introduced her to a website that lets students research online degrees. This is helpful since there are many choices out there when it comes to degrees and universities. It is good that a little research can be done prior to enrolling to a school and earning a degree. I bet that my friend’s cousin (and even his friends) will find this website useful in making wise decisions when the time comes.

Missing Them

These are some of the boys I left back home. My first home, that is. :) They are some of the university’s finest student journalists. This photo was taken by my BFF during our trip to Davao City for their final press work. Fun times!

I miss them along with the other boys and girls I have been working with. I am grateful for technology because we still get in touch despite the distance. Most often, I am updated about their lives, joys and even challenges through Facebook. I can’t wait to see them once I go home next month!

September!

September is just around the corner and I can’t wait! It is a month of travels and celebrations. For one, we are going to attend an ordination of my someone who claims to be my best friend. Haha! We have been praying so hard for this and finally, the day has come.

Another thing that keeps me excited about September is a trip back to my first home. This travel was booked prior to our trip coming here and I can’t wait to see my friends again.  A side trip to Davao City is also scheduled. Yay! I do not know if the time will afford me (along with some close friends) a visit to the beach but I am keeping my fingers crossed.

And let me not forget the birthdays! Some persons close to my heart will celebrate their big days this month. In fact, the major reason why I scheduled a trip home is the first birthday celebration of my youngest godson.

And lastly, it’s our anniversary month! Woohoo! No concrete plans yet but I am excited. :)

A Fungible Investment

History tells us that the first persons that began commissioning gold coins were Egyptian Pharaohs at around 2,700 BC. These gold tokens of varied purity were used primarily not for commerce but as gifts. These days, however, gold coins are highly in demand as investment products. We all know that gold is scarce and that makes its value stable. Many prefer to invest on gold coins not only because its value rarely depreciates but also because it is fungible or can be easily traded. Financial experts believe that now is the best time to invest on gold because world demand exceeds annual production.

Official Poem on Chelsea’s Wedding

The former First Daughter, Chelsea Clinton tied the knot with his longtime boyfriend, Marc Mezvinsky early last month. One of the highlights of the said event is is the reading of the official poem entitled The Life that I Have  written by Leo Marks, a British poet. He was a cryptographer for the British during World War II. His original poetry were coded with secret messages. The abovementioned piece was originally written on Christmas Eve 1943 for Marks’ girlfriend who just died in a plane crash.

Anyway, here’s the poem:

The Life that I Have

The life that I have
Is all that I have
And the life that I have
Is yours

The love that I have
Of the life that I have
Is yours and yours and yours.

A sleep I shall have
A rest I shall have
Yet death will be but a pause.

For the peace of my years
In the long green grass
Will be yours and yours
And yours

100% Safe

>> Wednesday, August 11, 2010

One thing that has been keeping me busy these days is Cookie Dozer, an iPhone/ iPod application which is a spin-off of Coin Dozer, a game that involves gold coins. The former is an enjoyable game but I still prefer Coin Dozer over it simply because I have earned plenty of treats that allow me to enjoy some upgrades.

And speaking of gold coins, if you are contemplating on investing on them, make sure that you are dealing with a reputable company. United States Gold Bureau is one, when it comes to addressing your precious metals investment needs. It is America’s best dealer with a convenient market and competitive precious metals prices. With US Gold Bureau, you are 100% assured that your investments are in safe hands.

Promotional Products

Companies, organizations, institutions and groups are now imploring the aid of promotional products company to make their services and products known to consumers and prospective clients. This strategy has been proven to be effective in marketing one’s organization and the services and product that it offers.

My husband, for one is a fan of promotional products. Two years ago, he hoarded a certain iced tea product because of the promotional containers that they were giving away. Candies are not usually included in our grocery list but last month, he was tempted to buy not one but two packs because of the promotional lanyards that were contained in them. The lanyards featured the recent animated movie characters, thus they were a sure hit to our daughter.  Last year, he also bought some bottles of an energy drink because of their promotional bags offering. He found the bags sporty and sturdy so he has been using them for quite some time now. And for me that is important. Promotional products should not only entice customers to buy. Companies that are giving them out should make sure that their promotional products should not only be useful, practical and last a long time so as not to add more waste to the environment.

The Capable Wife

I have been constantly asking God to help me become the best wife for Wesley. Some days, I succeed and there are times when I fail. But it is good that the Bible has provided timeless words of advice to guide me on what a capable wife is. It is not easy to become one but with God’s grace, I am getting there slowly but surely. :)

THE CAPABLE WIFE

10 An excellent wife who can find? She is far more precious than jewels.
11 The heart of her husband trusts in her, and he will have no lack of gain.
12 She does him good, and not harm, all the days of her life.
13 She seeks wool and flax, and works with willing hands.
14 She is like the ships of the merchant; she brings her food from afar.
15 She rises while it is yet night and provides food for her household
and portions for her maidens.
16 She considers a field and buys it; with the fruit of her hands she plants a vineyard.
17 She dresses herself with strength and makes her arms strong.
18 She perceives that her merchandise is profitable. Her lamp does not go out at night.
19 She puts her hands to the distaff, and her hands hold the spindle.
20 She opens her hand to the poor and reaches out her hands to the needy.
21 She is not afraid of snow for her household, for all her household are clothed in scarlet.
22 She makes bed coverings for herself; her clothing is fine linen and purple.
23 Her husband is known in the gates when he sits among the elders of the land.
24 She makes linen garments and sells them; she delivers sashes to the merchant.
25 Strength and dignity are her clothing, and she laughs at the time to come.
26 She opens her mouth with wisdom, and the teaching of kindness is on her tongue.
27 She looks well to the ways of her household and does not eat the bread of idleness.
28 Her children rise up and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praises her:
29 “Many women have done excellently, but you surpass them all.”
30 Charm is deceitful, and beauty is vain, but a woman who fears the Lord is to be praised.
31 Give her of the fruit of her hands, and let her works praise her in the gates.  ~ Proverbs 31:10-31

Eat Pray Love

I have started reading this:                      Eat Pray Love
to be ready once this is shown on the big screen:
Eat Pray Love It seems to be a good movie, based on the reviews made about the book. And it stars Julia Roberts which is a plus, if you ask me. Anyway, the synopsis of the movies says:

Liz Gilbert (Roberts) had everything a modern woman is supposed to dream of having - a husband, a house, a successful career - yet like so many others, she found herself lost, confused, and searching for what she really wanted in life. Newly divorced and at a crossroads, Gilbert steps out of her comfort zone, risking everything to change her life, embarking on a journey around the world that becomes a quest for self-discovery. In her travels, she discovers the true pleasure of nourishment by eating in Italy; the power of prayer in India, and, finally and unexpectedly, the inner peace and balance of true love in Bali.

Nikon D5000

Mark, one of my brothers in-law, has been planning to buy a good DSLR. Last week, he asked for my opinion regarding Nikon D5000:

  3. Vari-angle color LCD monitor
  4. 19 Auto-exposure Scene Modes

  7. Low noise ISO sensitivity from 200 to 3200
  8. 11-point Autofocus System with 3D Focus Tracking

Causes of Truck Accidents

Truck accidents can be caused by various circumstances. It may involve a truck driver who is not fit to drive – stressed out, drunk or under the influence of drugs. Maybe it’s the truck itself that has a mechanical or break failure. Or maybe it is the condition of the road that caused it. Maybe it is too slippery or there was a construction without a proper warning sign. It can also be caused by the other drivers around the truck who caused the dangerous conditions.

Whoever and whatever the cause of a truck accident may be, it is best to work with experienced personal injury lawyers to be able to achieve a desirable outcome when it comes to a personal injury case. In Austin, there are skilled Truck Accident Attorney Texas who are very thorough when it comes to investigations of cases that involves truck accidents. Additional 2 Years of Basic Ed

>> Tuesday, August 10, 2010

We were watching the news last night and that’s where I learned about the Philippine government’s plan, particularly the Department of Education, to adopt a 12-year basic education cycle. This move aims to conform with global standards and it involves proposals to include vocational courses to make high school graduates employable and productive even without a college degree.

Some would say that an additional 2 years would mean additional burden for parents. Why not invest on more school steel buildings, chairs, tables, blackboards, books, etc. instead of this?  As someone who has been working in the academe for about 11 years, I highly appreciate this move. But like what Education Secretary Armin Luistro, let us try to look on the positive outcome once this is implemented. Desperate situations call for desperate actions, if I may say. Our curriculum is a good start and then we can move our way up to other concerns to improve the quality of education that our country has.

Lasik Surgery in San Diego

My best friend was already wearing prescription eyeglasses long before we met. He said he started wearing a pair when he began high school. During our college days, I never saw him take off those eyeglasses, seeing was tough without those, he said. But thanks to Lasik surgery, he is now eyeglasses-free. He underwent a surgery some years back and his vision has been restored to 20/20. His freedom from wearing eyeglasses has allowed him to engage into various outdoor activities like mountain-climbing, swimming and others, without the restriction of having to wear eyeglasses.

If you are in California and wishes to know if there is a San Diego Lasik Surgery clinic in the area, wonder no more. San Diego LASIK is there to help. It has the most advanced technology and they are using techniques which have been tested to obtain the best results. Prior to the surgery, patients undergo a thorough vision examination. This is to determine the type of treatment that can help achieve the best results for him. Now even if Lasik Surgery San Diego offers you the best and the most advanced technologies for custom vision correction, it does not mean that the procedure costs an arm and leg. Actually, it has made Lasik surgery very affordable because they envision a world that shares their motto, "Experience True Vision".

Frustrated

I feel cheated. A good deal of my morning was spent doing some techie tweaking with one of my new domains. I could’ve blogged, scrapped or maybe did the laundry but no, I had to tweak it because it just won’t redirect. FRUSTRATING in caps and bold letters. And eventually, I gave up. Not because I am a loser (or maybe I am. I don’t care. Haha!). I just think that I need a rest and that I give it a rest. I am not an expert in the field and I’ve already asked for help from a friend. I will try again tomorrow or the following day and hope for a positive result.

For now let me enjoy my much-needed nap. I feel sleepy. Ta-ta!

Some Loots

Happy Tuesday, people!

I am lacking sleep though not that much. :) I stayed up so late last night that I slept at around 2 this morning. I blame it on the nap that I took early evening. I had some mall time yesterday afternoon to do some errands and I think that made me so tired and sleepy.

Speaking of malling, well what can I say? I should definitely not be going to that certain mall because I can’t and won’t go home without a thing or two for myself! But let’s talk about the reason why I went there on the first place: to send some stuff for a brother in-law, Ted who is now based in Davao City and to buy some curtains. It’s timely because Robinsons has an ongoing SALE. I got ours with a 50% discount. I also got a bag organizer for myself.

Anyway, there is a part of the mall which I consider as the smaller version of Greenhills. It is inevitable that I pass by that area because it’s the exit/ entrance near my daughter’s school. Upon exiting, I decided to take a peek at the stall where I bought a nice purple blouse last month. It was tough finding it (me being poor in directions. Haha!) but when I found it, I was greeted by this nice brownish/greenish dress! A tried it on and it fits! Haha! And the price was not that bad (as if I would buy it if it costs a fortune. Haha!)

Now, I need to return and buy that nice pair of shoes that I saw prior to seeing that dress. I think they’ll be perfect! Haha!

When testing for STD, time is a matter of great importance. That is why same day std testing is in demand. Knowing the result as soon as possible is crucial for treatment. The National STD Testing is aware of this fact, thus, it has made available same day testing to everyone in the US.

Most often, std testing can be expensive but patients need not worry because free testing consultation is offered at the start. The process is made easy too. First, one must make a call to their STD testing counselors will assist you in determining what tests are required by performing risk assessment. The next step is consultation where you may ask for more information regarding STDs and testing. Furthermore, the counselor can help you find the laboratory that is closest to your area and schedule an appointment. Third step involves going to the designated laboratory to get tested. Most often, testing will only take you 15 minutes to accomplish and it involves urine or blood extraction – it depends on what type of test or tests that you have to undergo. Last but not the least is getting your result. At National STD Testing, results are sent once they receive a call from you. Since they put confidentiality of results on top of their priorities, you are assured that your results are in safe hands. Moreover, it is important for them that you understand the results, thus they are available for clarifications and explanations. They believe that their services are complete once these important information are explained and fully understood by you.

The Key is in My Pocket

This is my God Whispers message for last Saturday:

God Whispers

I agree. A financially-rich (and spiritually-rich) life does not happen just by merely wishing for and dreaming of them. Attaining them is possible. Just wishing won’t do any good. One must get moving, be determined and work hard for the realization of these dreams.

Home for the Best House Plans

Some years back, my husband and I decided that it was time to finally leave my parents’ house and try to live on our own. We found a small house, just big enough for the three of us and rented it three years even if the owner offered to sell the house to us on our second year. We plan to settle down in another city so we refused the offer. Hopefully, my husband and I can both find work there so we can relocate. Finding work is one. Finding a place where we can stay is another. Hopefully, we can afford a house once we relocate. It is one of our dreams as a family – to have our very own house.

Speaking of houses, last night, I chanced upon a website that showcases modern house plans. At Houseplansandmore.com, there are around 17,000 home plans made by the architects and designer who excels in the industry. There are varied styles and sizes that fit the needs, tastes and budget of any homeowner. Finding one’s dream home is made simple and easy at Houseplansandmore.com because of the Quick Search tool. Whether its log home plans or country home plans, one is sure to find it at Houseplansandmore.com.

A House Builder’s Paradise

I found some home building and design magazines lying around at the house yesterday and I browsed through them before bed time last night. There were pages and pages of impressive house plans and flipping through them made me wish that I already owned a house.

Just this morning, I discovered HousePlansandMore.com which features 17,000 house plans on their website. There are garage plans and cabin plans. These are highly customizable to fit any home builder’s budget and preferences. Their website is a rich resource for potential home builders. To make finding the best house plan, HousePlansandMore.com offers new videos to allow users to take virtual tours through top-selling home styles. Another useful tool is the “locate a builder” feature that provides lists of trusted and experienced log home builders, ranch home builders, waterfront home builders, modular home builders and more. They are classified not only according to their field of expertise but also based on their location. A map of the US is presented and a single click on a state will direct home builders to a page of credible builders, complete with contact information. These features and more make HousePlansandMore.com the number one website when it comes to house building.

A Luxurious Collection

I was reading the entertainment section of a national broadsheet last weekend and I was taken aback by the number of yachts owned by one showbiz personality. That’s what he collects – yachts, aside from cars. And they are not your average yachts, mind you. The interior feels like home because of its cozy and relaxing ambiance. Moreover, it is equipped with a powerful Gps tracking device so he can keep track on where his yachts are.

Speaking of GPS, I have recently encountered Bluewater Security Professionals, LCC which specializes not only in GPS tracking but also in surveillance, navigation and guard service. Their extensive collection of security solutions can help one achieve peace of mind when it comes to properties like vehicles, fleets and even family members. Take a GPS tracking device for vehicles for example. With it, one can monitor his vehicle or boat's speed, location, daily stops and starts and its overall performance. Moreover, a GPS tracking device also allows a person to locate a loved one – a child or elderly family member perhaps, in a matter of seconds. Thanks to technology, these can be done and more through the Internet, 7 days a week and 24 hours a day. Equipping his yachts with GPS tracking devices was indeed a wise move for this celebrity. With those, he can monitor their whereabouts and more with just some clicks, anytime, anywhere.

Hydraulic Rams to the Rescue

Upon graduating from college, I served as a volunteer in some remote community in the mountains. I appreciated the simplicity of life there even though I missed many things that I enjoyed back home. There, I learned to appreciate simple things which I used to take for granted like paved roads, comfortable beds, electricity for 24 hours a day, flowing water from the faucet and more. In the absence of a water system, households depend on Hydraulic rams to generate water. It is a good thing that such machines were invented because trekking the hilly mountains just to take a bath in the stream can be a daunting task.

I was reminded of this experience when I landed on a site that supplies hydraulic pumps, hydraulic rams, hydraulic valves, Electric motors, air line preparation components, air line tubing and fittings, pneumatic valves, gear reducers, bearings and other power transmission components. The name of this online store is Freemont Industrial Supply. Their store is stocked only with high quality products. Furthermore, they also help you cut the cost of shipping by combining shipping via motor freight at a flat rate charge.Their 40 years of experience as distributor of top quality products combined with their service-oriented staff make them the leader in the field of industrial supply market.

Evidences in the form of pieces of well made glass were found originally in Mesopotamia and these are believed to date from the third millennium BC. Eventually, the art of glass making developed in Egypt using the method named core-forming. At around the end of the first century BC, a new method called glass blowing revolutionized glass production. This art was discovered somewhere along the Easter Mediterranean coast. The process lets an experienced glassblower produce intricated and symmetrical shape. This form of art became famous, especially with the support of the powerful Roman Empire that helped spread it to many countries.
