Rain, Rain!

From my window, I can see the dark sky which is being occasionally illuminated by lightnings. It has been a very warm and humid day that I am wishing for rain to make the air cool. My daughter and I have been sweating excessively and I understand why she prefers staying downstairs instead of being here in our room (aside from the fact that her cousins and the TV/DVD sets are downstairs too). Our room is the warmest area in the house but I like it here.

So I hope and pray for a rain tonight. The heat makes me feel lethargic. But I need the sun’s rays tomorrow which is my laundry day. Teehee!
