Norway, Here they Come!

Allow me to introduce to you two of our best student leaders: Mark and Lianne!

He is an Education student and she is a graduating Nursing student. They are our delegates to the International Student Festival in Trondheim (ISFiT) in Norway. It is our first time to send delegates to such an event and we are mighty proud of them! There are only 5 students from the Philippines who qualified to join and two of them are from our university! Woot! They are now processing their visa applications. The festival will be from February 20 to March 1, 2009 in Trondheim.

I am grateful that I was sent to a seminar in Bukidnon even if I was new at the office last August 2008. It gave me an opportunity to know people who would later introduce us to this prestigious event. Indeed, things happen for a reason! One of my many missions is to expose our students not only to national but also to international student festival/ congress/ conventions. By God ‘s grace, my first year at my new job wasn’t bad!
