A What?

A friend of mine recently went to Manila for her oath-taking as a licensed Guidance Counselor. Mind you, she is the first and only in this small city where we live. Yey! Anyways, upon coming home, the must-have pasalubong were handed out and of course, I had a special one – a silver-plated bracelet. It is beautiful and I loved wearing it. The only accessories that I like wearing for several years now are only earrings and our wedding ring. This stylish bracelet made me want to gift myself with a wristwatch this Christmas, a Patek Philippe perhaps? (In my dreams! LOL!) Anyways, I was hoping to find an affordable but stylish one  until I had this conversation with my smart little girly:

Her: Mommy, what’s that?
Me: A bracelet from Ninang Cecille.
Her: Oh… I thought its a handcuff.

And that changed my mind.
