All About Me (again)

From my Side of the World

>> Tuesday, November 25, 2008

Forgive me but all I can rumble about these past days is my w-o-r-k. Things are tied-up and there are several meetings and preparations and coordinating and not to mention seminars to attend! Like what I’ve been saying, I’ve been wanting to file a leave and just rest but I can’t afford that until hmmm… December 19! LOL! Anyways, good thing I still found time to attend my Therese’s 2nd Grading Convocation this afternoon. I would not dare miss it! I saw her lining up and searching the crowd. I read her lips saying “Nasaan na si Mommy?” (Where is Mommy?). Good thing she found me and was relieved upon seeing her Mommy!

It is also card day and it’s a bit sad to note that her grades went 1 point or two lower compared to her 1st Grading marks. But anyways, it’s OK. She is a smart girl and there’s no rushing nor pressuring for her to *superly* excel in class.

Anyways, she thought we were headed for home so she was puzzled and wondering when we did not ride a jeep. I told her that we need to buy something somewhere. She was all too happy when we walked towards her favorite Jollibee! She deserved her spaghetti and french fries while I wanted to just sit down and eat and be with her. No cooking nor preparing for whatsoever. Just eat and enjoy each other’s company. We went home and even bought her an apple along the way.

Well there goes my day. Stressful but relaxing towards the end. I am grateful to find time to spend it with my daughter. It keeps me sane.

Have a lovely Wednesday!

Happy Monday! I forgot how it feels to blog on a Monday! LOL! It was a stressful day but I am taking time and have reserved energies to have a productive blogging week by starting it on a Monday!

Hmm… What am I up to? Daytime work is keeping me sooo busy. I attended a seminar last week, plus many meetings. There was a meeting today. Tomorrow a seminar. Plus we are preparing for a big event on Wednesday, another one on Thursday plus another one on Saturday. I have been wanting to file a leave and rest but I can’t afford for now with tons of paper works and coordinating to do and meetings to attend to. We are sending some student leaders to various congresses and conventions and I usually do communication with their deans, thanks to my letter-writing skills. Haha! Modesty aside but my boss is so lucky to pick me as he has a handy letter-writer whenever he needs one. LOL!

Anyways, I have been stocking up on Gatorade and I had two bottles today. I guess that helped too, along with Stress Tabs. The mantra that I have reciting since yesterday was “I am to blessed to be stressed.” That kept me sane today. And hopefully, for the rest of the week. Hehe.

So that’s what’s going on with my RLW (that’s real life work. Haha!) these days! Care to share yours?

In Search of…

>> Sunday, November 23, 2008

a beauty school? Well search no more because Find a Beauty School is here to help you. Find the best beauty school for you from their very comprehensive directory. It’s like stumbling upon a gold mine if you ask me! No matter where you are in the United States, you can easily access their website and find the best beauty school for you. They made your life easier by making the schools searchable by zip code and/ or state. For example, you want to study in one of the beauty schools in colorado, just type the zip code and you will be directed to a list. You can even access the schools’ websites because Find a Beauty School provides them for you. And their service does not end there, they can help you in acquiring more information just by providing the name of your favorite beauty schools and your contact information and Find a Beauty School will do the rest.

So go for that dream and let Find a Beauty School help you!

I am Still Here Though I Can’t Promise for How Long.

So it’s been a while nga. And like what I have been saying before, blame my daytime job! LOL! I love my job with all the stress and pressure. But honestly, I do think that I deserve to be promoted, not just transferred. Haha!

Anyways, the student activities are piling up. There are plenty of letters and what-have-yous to prepare and coordinate. I feel like taking a day-off or two but I don’t think I can for now. Especially when we have two students that we hope to send for a students’ festival in Norway come February 2009!! They passed the screening though we’re still finding ways to support their financial needs. Hay. Help us pray please. Other than that, there is the intramurals. It’s a grand activity for our 4,000 plus university students. Just imagine the preparations. The student leaders come to me almost everyday for consultations. They even think of me when they lack coupon bonds for their letters. Haha!

Anyways, I hope it will be a productive blogging week for me this time. You all have a great one and take care!

Seeing More Clearly and Spending Less

>> Thursday, November 20, 2008

I know this would look good on me:KONICA MINOLTA DIGITAL CAMERA

Agree? Yes you should! :) This is just one of the many Great Eyeglasses For Less that you can avail from Zenni Optical. Those affordable Variable Dimension Frames From Zenni and so much more made it quite popular. So popular that Zenni Optical was on FOX news! Isn’t that amazing or what! Congrats, Zenni! Here’s looking forward to seeing more of Zenni on Fox in the coming days!

Look who’s back! Me, of course! :) But not so back yet. The meetings that I have been attending drain my energy at the end of the day! I attended a seminar-workshop on inter-faith and inter-cultural dialogue facilitation from Monday to Wednesday. I learned new things and I think that is good. Haha! I also have been attending meetings since Monday. The sessions ended at around 4PM in the afternoons, so there was still time to attend other meetings. I have been in meetings from 4-5:30 PM since Monday. Up to tomorrow. Haayz. But that’s my life for now. And seriously, I am happy. And I will be happier if they promote me! LOL!

Anyways, I am looking forward to the weekend. Just another week (and that’s next week) and it’s December! Just this morning, a little girl was complaining about “ang tagal-tagal pa ng December!” I later learned that she badly wants to leave for Pampanga na. Haha!

That’s all for now. You all have a great weekend!

Hello, Hello!

>> Monday, November 17, 2008

I know I have been MIA for some days. But I am just here. Just too lazy to blog. LOL!

Anyways, it is going to be a busy week again. There is a three-day facilitators’ training which will begin today. I had a meeting with the heads of the recognized school organizations last Friday and it was surely nice to see them all again. Some activities were lined up for a celebration next week and I need to prepare for those too.

So you all have a great week ahead! Cheers!

My Wish List

>> Thursday, November 13, 2008

This is my edited and final wish list. :)

1. Me likey these books in paperback:

I found them all in OMF Literature’s online store here. The images are linked. They said that there will be a store sale from November November 17-22 and December 15-20 to get 20% off on all books published and imported by OMF Lit so if you want to save, check them out on those dates. Of course, those are also available in your favorite bookstores (though I did not find them in the online NBS shop).

Is it obvious that I am a Philip Yancey fan? :) I was able to finish his The Jesus I Never Knew book, which initially was, incomprehensible for my pea-sized brain! LOL! It came from a friend and it’s inspiring, refreshing and very enlightening. I had a hard time choosing which books to ask for this time. These are Gold Medallion Winners, based on my research and there are others but they can wait. ;)

2. An MP4/ MP5 player that can read ebooks. Like Joy, I am also waiting for the details courtesy of Aggie so kindly wait with us. :)

Thank you Mommy, whoever you are! :)

I am finally having a longer ME time tonight. I just have to decide what to do with it. Haha! But it’s a must for me write a read and write a review on small business for sale for me to get paid and buy a *toot* for *toot! Haha! Sino kaya? :D

I interchanged their numbering, based on my preferences. Teehee! :)

Just Here

>> Wednesday, November 12, 2008

It’s been two days of busyness at work so I had little time and energy to go online or at least scrap when I finally find some ME time before sleeping. There are meetings and meetings almost everyday! There was a recent one where I almost fell asleep. Haha! Good thing it was followed by a briefing for some of our best students. And since there is never a dull moment when I am with the younger ones, it surely woke me up! LOL!

Anyways, there is one great news about some of the members of my digiscrapping circle but it has to wait. Hehe. They have not spilled the beans officially yet. But here’s one and it’s still about us. Hehe. We are having a Twitter Christmas Gift Exchange! You see, we’ve made Twitter our second home. That’s where you can find us basically chatting about anything and everything about our lives and hobbies and blogs. Anyways, going back to our exchange gift, I am amazed how Yen and Joy devised a way for us to have a high-tech *bunutan*! The problem, however, is that I don’t have a wish list yet! I have to make one soon! I find it difficult but I think I already have few things in mind like tire chains, for example. Haha! Just kidding! I am browsing some online shops and hopefully, I can find things that I will like there so wish me luck!

Parisian Holiday

>> Monday, November 10, 2008

Hubby just got home so I had to prepare a decent meal. *cough, cough* Hehe. He is currently watching a relatively new James Bond movie on cable TV. However, I don’t think I like this one even if it has high-tech gadgets and stuff like GPS, simply because it does not star Pierce Brosnan. LOL! Anyways, we’re having our bonding moment so while he’s watching a movie, I am munching on my favorite barquillos and chatting with my Twitter friends and downloading this yummyness:

It’s Oscraps’ collab kit for November – December 2008 and boy, it’s mighty packed with loads of goodies! As one of Shaui’s CT, I am privileged to get this for free! But you have the chance to get this at 40% off its original price. The kit will be sold in its full price soon so you better grab the chance while it’s still on sale. The image is linked, clicking it will lead you to the shop (but don’t blame me if you’re $6 poorer afterwards. LOL!) I have lots of Christmas photos and memories waiting to be scrapped (and a number of Christmas-themed kits waiting to be used too!) I know I should be starting on our Christmas card soon and this kit just came in time. ;)

Good morning! It’s a brand new week and what’s a better way to start it other than blogging? Haha! It’s a bright and sunny morning and not to mention hot. Good thing they have installed the AC at the office after 48 million years. Haha! I am hoping that each of us will be given with a computer unit next year. I prefer mine with an LCD monitor like this one please. :D210205866

It is hard to be sharing computers, especially when you’re on a rush and the office computer is being used to update one’s Facebook account. LOL!

You all have a great Monday and TTFN!

Be a Dreamer

I feel so accomplished! I have been intending to scrap even just a page and with the remaining hours of my weekend, here’s what I came up with:

Be-a-Dreamer (Click on the image for full credits)

Journaling reads: ”It’s amazing to see how your ambition in life changes as you grow older. It’s a long way until you become what you really want to be and your choices are limitless. But one thing is for sure, Dad and I are always here to support you in achieving your dreams. Just follow them and we’re sure right behind you! “

The kits I used are these:

In Retrospect is a collaboration kit between Fei-Fei Stuff and Taylor Made Designs. On the other hand, you can win Quote It No. 2 by Fei-Fei Stuff just by leaving a comment here. You have until November 13, 2008 to participate. It will available at Shaui’s shop afterwards.

It feels good to be slowly getting back into the digiscrapping scene. See, I work best under pressure! Haha! Thanks again for trusting me, Shaui! And it really helps to be organized so one can scrap meaningfully. For the life of me, I could not find these old photos and the staple wires if not for ACDSee. :)

Anyway, there goes my weekend! I will be hitting the hay now since aside from pimples caused by stress and sleeping late, I am also dealing with blackheads. Aargh… Good night!

All Ready for the Pictorials

>> Sunday, November 9, 2008

My little girl is sporting a new ‘do today. We went to the salon after the morning Mass and our family’s hairstylist decided to cut her hair short and with bangs (with my approval of course!) We've been having problems with her long hair as she is too *busy* to comb her hair! Aside from that, she finds it difficult to wash her long hair. So, even if I love seeing her with long hair, I just have to allow her to have a shorter hairstyle to make her life easier. Hehe. Anyways, without much ado, here’s a snapshot of my Therese with her new hairstyle:IMG_4426

This is the most decent shot that I got after 13 tries. *sigh* She used to love posing for me but now, I have to bribe her first just to get this. For now, it’s an hour of online playing. What’s next, gift baskets? Haha! I’d better be prepared for the succeeding photo opps! :)

Another reason for a new hairstyle is that they will have their pictorials for their yearbook within the month. Yay! My girl will be graduating from pre-school in four months’ time! I am pretty excited about the pictorials. We had a parents’ meeting last Friday and some were complaining about the fees, the photographer, the printing company that won the bidding, etc., etc. Personally, I trust the decision and judgment of our PTCA officers and those in-charge of the yearbook. I would gladly pay the amount and be excited about my daughter’s first graduation rather than make a big fuss about small things. But hey, that’s just me ha. ;)

Kits, New Website and a Contest

>> Saturday, November 8, 2008

I recently got these kits as Shaui’s CT:

folderfei taylormade-inretro-dk-800prv-10137-400-mzthumb

Lovely, aren’t they? I hope to scrap and use them tomorrow. ;)

And here’s a new one:

Shaui has a new website! Yay! And to celebrate, she is generously giving away that set of quotes. Joining is so easy. Just visit her blog and comment in this post. You have until November 13, 2008 to participate. Join now!

Happy Friday!

>> Friday, November 7, 2008

Guess who was up so early today. Me, of course. It is somewhat unusual since I have been waking up so late for long. Haha! It’s a Friday and if you read my blog regularly, you should know by now that I love weekends and holidays and since a Friday signifies that a weekend is coming up, I love it too! Wink But before I rejoice because it’s a weekend, I need to attend two meetings this afternoon first plus I have to be present during the opening ceremonies of our College of Engineering’s festival this morning. These give me a good excuse to sport a rugged attire on an office day. Haha!

What are your plans for the weekend? I have the usual – rest, scrap (ows), lounge around the house with my family, attend the Mass, visit the mall perhaps. It’s a routine, really. But I look forward to it.

Anyways, I am off to prepare for work so catch you all later!

Toot! Toot!

While I was busy chatting with Liz, an email arrived at my inbox. Upon reading it, I was so ecstatic and joyful that I had to wake my husband up just to relay the story. I was jumping like a crazy kid so while typing my reply, I was literally breathless. Haha! I also shared the email with Liz and she thought that it was cool. Mai was telling about a her own toot on our twitter chat room and so was Yen. But the three of us did not mention what those toots were. Mai finally shared hers yesterday. I don’t know when Yen’s going to share hers. My toot? Hmm… Allow me to show this to you first:

(click on the image for full credits)

Well that, my friend is my first layout as Shaui’s FeiFei Stuff Creative Team member! Yay! Her email last Sunday was a an invitation to join her uber talented team. It was encouraging and inspiring and who am I to refuse, right? So I said yes and well, there goes my toot! :)

I am so excited not only because this will help me get out of the scrapping rut where I’ve been for a long time, but because I will be working with a very kind and inspiring woman. She really has ways of awakening the sleeping artists in us and even motivate us to scrap outside our comfort zones and try new ways.

To Shaui, thank you so much for this opportunity! It means a lot, girl! Love yah!

Busy as a Bee

>> Wednesday, November 5, 2008

What will keep me busy tomorrow and the rest of the week:
  1. Three meetings with the student leaders. I need to schedule them, post announcements, prepare the materials, reserve the venue and inform them about it. There are upcoming events which need their full participation and I am the one in-charge of making sure they participate. Or else. Hehe.
  2. Draft an evaluation scheme for student organizations that fall under the On Probationary Recognition category. And then schedule a meeting with their respective presidents.
  3. The 2nd birthday of PM – my cousin’s son. We’ll be sponsoring the birthday cake and have dinner at their place. That means I won’t need to fret on what to cook tomorrow night! Yay!
  4. Write a review on car insurance. The deadline is tomorrow and it’s a waste if I let the task expire.
  5. Bring Therese to her pedia. She is losing weight and we don’t know why. She is not sick or anything and is very much active. And growing taller. She might be needing to switch vitamins perhaps?
  6. SCRAP, SCRAP, SCRAP. I have tons of DSD kits that are waiting for me to use.
  7. Back-up those kits. I have 3.60 GB worth of kits that I have to burn on CDs. Some must also be transferred to my EHD.
  8. Try to find time to read the second book of the Shopaholic series. I am so stopping myself from starting now. Hehe.

Well, there goes my list for now. You all have a lovely Thursday tomorrow!

For Bingay

A friend I have not talked with for a long time sent me an SMS yesterday, inquiring about my condition. She was worried about the possibility of me suffering from vertigo, which is, according to her, an illness of the rich and wealthy. Haha! But I’d rather be poor and healthy rather than sickly and rich. I asked her how did she find out (because like what I said, we’re not in touch for a long time) and she said, she read it here! Yay! HERE? My blog? My friends read my blog! Isn’t that nice? I know my online friends do sometimes drop by, but to know that persons who really know me, persons I consider as my bestest friends, persons that I grew up with actually read my blog is fantastic!

So Bingay, thanks for dropping by! It’s nice to know that you’re interested to know and read not only about my reviews on things that do not interest you like one on paint booth, but more on what’s going on with me and my family in this sleepy place where we grew up. We may not see each other very soon but you very well know that I am always here for you and I treasure our friendship! Love yah girl! :)

Wish List

What’s on your Christmas wish list- you know, the materialistic-kind of wish list? Mine is just a DSLR though that is wishful thinking from what I am trying to read from Hubby’s reactions. Haha! I would also want a cool sunglasses because I can never ever go out of the house without one. But that is if we are going somewhere and not just to bask under the sun in our yard. Haha! And probably a wristwatch. Yeah, I am still thinking about getting one despite of what *someone* thought of my pretty bracelet. I know Hubby is more than willing to shell out for something like one of the Seiko watches at the mall than for a DSLR, right Love? Hehe. Anyways, we’ll see. I am proud to say that I have been saving up for my holiday shopping because it is during our annual vacation that we get to visit big and various malls. Its the perfect time to shop!

Counting the Days

If there is one thing that makes me extremely happy, it’s talking to Ted, my youngest brother in-law. There is never a dull moment whenever I talk to him whether in person or over the phone. His stories and witty responses never fail to make laugh like I never laughed before. We had a long talk some hours ago and the Husband did the cooking because I spent almost one hour talking to his brother. Hehe. I surely had fun and I am so much looking forward to being with Ted and the rest of the gang next month! Ted celebrated his birthday last month and he was telling me that he won’t mind receiving a belated birthday gift next month. Haha! I am wondering if he will like any of the Nautica watches I saw online.

It’ll be more than a month but as early as now, plans have been made on where we’ll be going and what resto to try and the several parties that we are going to go too! There are lots of lovely people to meet and I am counting the days until board that plane. :)

When they left their mom’s place, they needed four moving boxes just for those books!

Anyways, I know that they will love this:

51F43PN0CEL._SS500_ …among other books by Sophie Kinsella. :) I am currently reading this and I want to say, hank you so much, Joy! You are truly heaven-sent! :)

A What?

A friend of mine recently went to Manila for her oath-taking as a licensed Guidance Counselor. Mind you, she is the first and only in this small city where we live. Yey! Anyways, upon coming home, the must-have pasalubong were handed out and of course, I had a special one – a silver-plated bracelet. It is beautiful and I loved wearing it. The only accessories that I like wearing for several years now are only earrings and our wedding ring. This stylish bracelet made me want to gift myself with a wristwatch this Christmas, a Patek Philippe perhaps? (In my dreams! LOL!) Anyways, I was hoping to find an affordable but stylish one  until I had this conversation with my smart little girly:

Her: Mommy, what’s that?
Me: A bracelet from Ninang Cecille.
Her: Oh… I thought its a handcuff.

And that changed my mind.

Someone’s not feeling OK so she opted to stay home rather than go to work today.

Yesterday afternoon, I suddenly felt dizzy (and no sir, I am not in any way pregnant!). I thought it was the usual thing that I feel when feel very sleepy but can’t sleep yet. That was around late in the afternoon, few minutes before going home. It was raining and that did not help in any way. So, upon turning on the rice cooker and taking a bath, I tried resting. The little girl was so cooperative and understanding. She even prepared her food because Mommy found it difficult to get up. The Husband later arrived and found his little girl munching on a sandwich (that’s after her meal ha). I woke up and had supper around 10 in the evening only to throw up after several minutes. Hay. It was not fun! Terrible. Just terrible. And to think I lost one night of working on my online stuff plus preparing for a new endeavor. Haay. Sige lang.

I don’t know what caused this. My Husband says it might be due to my eye allergies. However, the recent attack is over. I feel so drained, even if I had a good night’s sleep. I woke up early (again) but I did not turn the laptop on and work. It might just aggravate my condition. So now, I am trying to rest (can that be done when you’re online? Haha!) I feel tired – that’s how it’s always been whenever vertigo attacks (and it’s so rare. Haay.)

Until it’s Officially Official

>> Sunday, November 2, 2008

While browsing through the net reading about group health insurance (you can really find about anything and everything online these days), an email arrived at my inbox from a friend (an uber talented one, mind you). As she expected, I was rather surprised to receive an email from her and when I read the content, I was so excited and giddy at the same time! It is one great news (at least for me!) that I had to go and wake Hubby up. :D I dunno if he understood me in his half-awake/ half-asleep state. :D I was jumping like crazy that I was literally breathless while typing my reply. Haha! I already forgot what I was initially reading about. Haha! Of course, I won’t be divulging what the great news is until it’s officially official. Haha!

First Weekend Recap for November

Before hitting the hay, allow me to relay to you what happened on my weekend (even if you are not interested to know! Haha!)

It was a relatively long weekend for me as we only worked half-day last Friday in preparation for the observance of the All Souls’ Day. I had a hefty lunch with some of my super closest friends at our favorite cafe. The afternoon was rather dramatic because someone kept on changing her mind – whether to spend the night with my parents or not. Good thing they came and she went with them. The night then was spent with me, doing my very best to work online and shop at the same time, though I was not very successful because of a terrible migraine and eye allergies.

Saturday, I woke up early again. It was 3rd day in a row, I think. Goodie me! :) We were supposed to visit the memorial park early that morning and meet the girl there and then eat at her favorite fast food. However, we (the H and I) were lazy so we postponed it and went there around lunch time! It was hot, hot, hot! However, it was not windy so the candles’ light were not put off until we left. We had lunch at may parents’ place and later went home since I still have a lot of pending tasks to do. (Plus I was not done with my DSD shopping yet! LOL!) The night was relatively peaceful. The girl had new coloring sheets so that kept her busy.

Today, I woke up early again. We should be hearing the 8 AM Mass. But then again, someone got mad because she did not like the clothes that I asked her to wear. Haaay! I am getting crazy! The father and daughter had an *episode* so I left and heard Mass alone, just to keep me sane. Then I went shopping for clothes! Haha! Once I got home, they were so peaceful and civil with each other. Haaay! And she was so clingy with her Dad! Imagine that. They left and attended Mass and bought groceries. I was left shopping online and chatting with Liz. Good time. :) I finally got over my inis later, later in the afternoon. Haay. Tonight, some friends came over and the little girl went with them to Ate Ronna’s party. Wes and I were not able to go, unfortunately.

Tomorrow is the first day of classes for the college students and elementary pupils of our school. My life is back to *normal* again. I have so many things that need to accomplish and one of them is helping our student plan for their seminar-workshop. I have been proposing to them to include financial reporting as a topic and a good friend of mine who is expert in the field volunteered to talk on the topic. This will greatly help them prepare for their year-end accomplishment report which they will submit to us before the school year ends.

It will be a busy semester for sure and tomorrow is the beginning so wish me luck!

A Special Day…

…for a special girl!

One of the best girls I know is celebrating her twentieth-something birthday today! Happy, happy birtday, Ate Ronna! She is one of our Peer Counselors and I was surprised to know later on that she is one of our neighbors! Yay! We have few common friends who are also Peer Counselors and one of them shared that a friend of his identifies Ronna as the girl who always has lots of food in her bag. Indeed, this girl is a food-lover! She loves to cook (and most often, we get to taste what she prepares) plus she almost always has food inside her bag. Haha! One is never hungry whenever she’s around. But don’t be deceived. Even if she likes eating and is a great cook, she is so slim and skinny and does not need the help of the best diet pills available.

She is a big sister to almost everyone (that is why we call her Ate) since this is her second course. I once told her that when my girl grows up, I want her to be just like her Tita Ronna. She has been so kind and nice and loving to Therese and the little one totally adores her. She is very soft-spoken and kind, obedient to her parents and God-loving. Who wouldn’t want to have a daughter like that? :)

Anyway, I am off to wrap our pretty gift for her and troop to her house and guess what… eat of course! :)

How it Works

As a mom and homemaker, I have my trusted brands on almost every household consumer products that we buy. We usually visit the groceries on a weekly basis and I already know which aisle to go and what item to buy when it comes to talc powder, shampoo, dish washer, soy sauce, catsup, toothpaste and more. The packaging might be similar but I am so familiar with the items that we usually buy, I can easily spot a few meters away! This reminds me of a  classic joke of a conversation between a retail store seller and a buyer who wishes to buy a toothpaste:

Buyer: Do you have a Colgate available?
Seller: What type?
Buyer: Close-up.

It’s funny and so true. For them, toothpaste is synonymous to Colgate! That’s how branding works. And that joke only proves how successful Colgate has been in establishing its brand in the minds and hearts of the consumers.

A determined and successful businessman must invest much not only on its facilities and workforce. He must also spend on good and strong branding. This will effectively result to meeting ones targets and sustainability of one’s business. It is necessary to invest time and resource in researching, defining and building your product or service’s brand. Your brand is what will remind your consumer of what your product or service is all about.

My DSD Loots

Happy Digital Scrapbooking weekend to all ya digiscrappers of the world! :) I am proud to say that I did not spend MUCH on digishopping this weekend YET. There is still an ongoing sale on some shops, that’s why! LOL!

Here are my loots, by the way (All from Kasia Designs of Shabby Pickle  Designs) :

One of the many accomplishments that our university president takes pride in is the improvement of our school facilities to cater to the growing demands of our students. The computer and speech laboratories have expanded.

Since the population of our nursing students is growing by the semester, the nursing arts laboratory increased from just one to three now. They don’t just read about theories but more importantly, they get to practice what they learn in the classrooms. They are exposed to communities and hospital settings and have access to real life medical equipment.

One of the reliable and most trusted medical equipment and health care supplies provider is Allegro Medical. It has been existing for 12 years and served more than 1 million customers by providing life enhancing products in the US. Allegro Medical is the first in the industry to launch an ecommerce site in the medical equipment and home health care supplies, offering 55,000 products from nutritional dietary supplement to outdoor gears. Moreover, they offer specials and discounts to anyone who signs up for their free newsletter.

Today, I will..

Since it was our little girl’s semestral break this week, we allowed her to sleep at my parents’ house last night. Surely, she is having a grand time with the non-stop TV marathon, which is expected since my parents give in to almost everything that she requests from them. On the other hand, I did miss her so I maximized the time to work on my online tasks. I did surf the digi shops but I did not buy anything YET. Haha!

Anyways, she will be home today. It’s All Saints’ Day and most people here are headed to cemeteries and memorial parks. We initially planned to go to the memorial park and visit my relatives’ graves early this morning and have breakfast at the little girl’s favorite Jollibee but we got lazy as usual. We might be going later and then fetch her from there.

I am pretty much tied up with my online tasks this weekend. Though I will be squeezing in some time to prepare and cook lumpia shanghai. It will take time, I know, but I have not prepared this for more than a month. And my eyes are itchy – might be caused by sleeping relatively late and waking up so early. Haha!

Costume Jewelries

One of the things that my mom loves is designer costume jewelry. She has quite a handful in her collection. She would love pairing them with her clothes and shoes and bags. She is one fashionista!

Christmas is just around the corner and what’s a better gift to give her than a designer costume jewelry! Take a look at this:

Isn’t it lovely? I know she will like this. I found it at www. – a haven for designer costume jewelries and other luxurious gift items. It takes pride in in its 37 years of providing exclusively designed jewelry, gifts and accessories. It has a wide array of products to choose from – watches, bracelets, earrings & rings, necklaces and pins and even jewelry accessories! Every item is unique and distinct and are not offered in any retail store. If you are on a tight budget but still want to have the best, take advantage of their clearance sale. Look at this:
It used to be priced at $56 but you now you can have it for $28! What a steal, if you ask me! So whether you are shopping for yourself or for a loved one, make sure that you get your money’s worth. Get the best at the prices you can afford.

First Day!

Good morning! It’s the first day of November and it only mean one thing – just a 30 days more and it’s December – my most favorite month of the year! Well, why, you might ask. Obviously, it’s Christmas season plus my birth month and not to mention we get to spend the holidays with my in-law. I am always looking forward to vacations, especially now that work has been toxic. There will be lots of food, malling and shopping, parties, visiting family members and seeing friends again. Plainly E.X.C.I.T.I.N.G. :)
