Extra! Extra!

On March 27, 2006 (my friend, Sarah's birthday!!) I was so surprised when I received a message from Liz, "Sis, congratulations! 3 of your LOs have been nominated for Ginger's "R U Too Square?" contest at SOTB!"

I have several galleries in several digiscrapping sites and Scrapoutsidethebox is one of them. It was Liz who informed me about the contest. Anyway, here are the links to my entries:

Kaela
A Long Way
Turning Two

Sending a private mail to cast your vote will earn me points though I doubt it if I will be garnering enough votes to win. :) Being a "seasonal" scrapper for less than a year and be included in the list of finalists is almost the same as winning. :)

Big thanks to my cybersis, Liz (who also has three entries in that contest) for all the support and push and everything. :) I am sooooo blessed to have you. :) :)

Love Bears...

Surprise! Surprise! I did this layout for my one and only sister-in-law, Shelley! And of course her special friend, Dhigs. They are such a lovely couple, aren't they?

Had a hard time working on this layout because of reasons unknown to me. :D However, I am sooooo happy with the outcome. Been wanting to make a layout for Shell, actually, since she's one of those who appreciates my craft. :D Aside from that, she has been sooooo supportive and loving to us.

Thanks for looking!!!

To give direction to my scrapbooking, I decided to create an album for my bratty princess based on the famous song. I know other scrappers have already done this. =) I also have used this picture before but was not somehow happy with the outcome so I decided to use it again. Besides, this is one of my favorite pictures of Therese.

Turning Two

One of the things I love when I discovered Adobe Photoshop is the art of photo masking. I swore to myself that I will use it on my pictures whenever possible and I think that this photo is a perfect opportunity to do so. Liz recently sent me some scrapbooking magazines and I was inspired by the journaling I read in the layouts so I am trying my hand on that matter in this layout.

I totally love Jolene's Nana's Garden Kit. And I was looking forward to using this picture of Therese in one of my LOs.

Thanks for looking!

A Long Way...

The description of this LO in my galleries read:

"The Grotto near the place where we live is not only a place where we can worship but it also serves as a sanctuary for some animals there. It makes a suitable place where families can go visit and spend time together on weekends. We usually visit the place and Therese (our daughter) delights at the sights and sounds of the place. This is one of the precious photos of her with her Dad. They have this love-hate relationship going on between them and seeing them together, holding each other’s hands makes my heart melt and my soul, joyful.
Lilacs and Butterflies is a perfect kit for the perfect moments captured on camera. I love everything in this kit and it is one of the best kits I saw since I started digiscrapping.

Inspiration for this layout is from a layout made by Birgit Koopsen, Memory Makers (October 2005), page 63.

Thanks for looking!"

Definitely, this one of my mostest favorite lay-outs since I started digiscrapping!!! I totally love this picture. =)

Thanks for looking!!

P.S.
Got a secret to share. Ssshhh...Ms. Cheryl McCain, a kit creator at DID, 3S and some other digiscrapping sites requested me and Liz to join her Design Team. Who am I to refuse? =D This is my first kit assignment from her. =) It is an honor to be working with her.
