Afternoon Delight

>> Tuesday, January 31, 2006

It was an afternoon to remember. Therese met her Ninang Bing-Bing and Jea for the first time. This was at Cafe le Sorelle, my favorite place here. We had lots of fun talking, eating and taking pictures. We were also blessed by the presence of her Ninang Marijo, Tito Badong and of course, her Dad.

I was able to come up with this LO in less than an hour and I can say I am pretty happy with that accomplishment. :D This is my first LO using my pretty new notebook! (Thanks, Love!) I have tiled this and used as my wallpaper. Cool!

Emmie & Andy

>> Saturday, January 21, 2006

A lay-out I made for a lovely and kind couple. Ate Emmie is a good friend whom I met way back in college. She was a one of the Program Officers at the Campus Ministry Office where I was a volunteer. She was one of the ladies who spoiled and loved us at the CM Office. When I got married, it was she who designed my wedding gown and she helped us big time in the preparations. Despite the fact that we rarely see each other in the past years, the bond and love is still there. She is still my Ate Emmie and I know I can always count on her.

On the other hand, Andy is a batchmate in college (though he's a year older than me). He was one of the serious seminarians we had in our class. I was talkative and he's not and yet, we're good friends. :D

After several years, they met again, fell in love and on January 28, 2006, they tied the knot. :)

Ate Ems and Andy, I love you both and I wish you lots of babies!!!! :D

Thanks for looking!

See What I can Do!

>> Sunday, January 15, 2006

A layout I made in compliance to the assignment given by Liz. :D

Therese can be a sweetie. One morning while waiting for her Dad who was getting ready for Church, I asked her to pose so that we can send the picture to her Ninang Berna (the one who gave her blouse). She grabbed her stuffed toy and posed. I asked her stand straight and smile but she won't budge. What else is there to do but take this picture!

Thank you for looking!

No Title :D

>> Thursday, January 12, 2006

Liz has been encouraging me to apply to as a Design Team member of a digiscrapping site since last year. I have not given much thought into it because:
1) I don't have my own computer. (Santa didn't deliver the stuff I asked from him. Maybe because I was naughty? :D)
2) We don't have a fast internet connection (preferably DSL!) which is a must to download kits from websites.
3) And most importantly, I AM TOOOOO LAZY to scrap on a regular basis. If I join a Design Team, I should meet their minimum requirement of LOs per week or month or per kit. Pretty scary for a sloth like me. LOL!

However, last week, Liz presented a somewhat attractive offer for a lazy scrapper like me. But I need to come up with 3 LOs first and then post it in that site. And then I can apply. Yeah right. Like I can come up with 3 LOs in a month! I feel some kind of pressure. LOL. So I was able to dig a photo and come up with a lay-out which is being refused by this site to be posted!! But I am not giving up. Will make sure it will be on this site before the week ends!

Anyways, some minutes ago, Liz came online and she posted an announcement on YM. I was like, "Go for it, Sis!" and she was like, "Sis sa iyo ko binibigay yang ad na yan." Oh my...It's a kit designing competition. Got to create my own kits, use them in my LO and post them on or before January 15. That's 3 days from now. My golly... This means I won't be sleeping nor working for 3 days and nights??

Gotta love this Lizzie girl. Really. :D I appreciate her unconditional support to me and this craft. She has been my supporter, adviser, friend, confidant, sister and all that you could ask for in a friend. I am a frustrated artist (sshh...) but thanks to Liz who introduced me into digiscrapping, I found a passion which allows me to express my self and be creative at it. Scrapping made me sane in so many ways. Really. I can be sane. :D

While you're here, try visiting Liz's site too! It's here. She did some LO featuring Therese and her (pretty) mom. :D

Oh well. I am being incoherent now. It's almost 12 midnight and I need to hit the hay. I will think about what to do in order to meet the goals which were set by Liz for me. LOL! She said she does not want to see my so-called talent go to waste. Owww...kay.... :D

And to all who have been visiting this site, I hope you like what you see and that I wish (oh how I wish!) I can come up more LO and be able to post them for your viewing pleasure. :D

Love to all and stay happy!!

P.S.
Forgive me for the typos. Really feel sleepy now...:D
